I am not exactly a closet feminist. GRL PWR is a belief system I have physically tattooed into my flesh. My Instagram and Facebook accounts are littered with pictures of me waving a cardboard poster of sharpie-drawn boobies around the Capitol while marching for women’s rights.

My [digital] friendship with Maria is another product of my high school Tumblr days, where I had a circle of online Babes supporting me and my art from around the world. 

Interviewing Nellie has given me final confirmation that our Babes out in Reno are their own kind of awesome.

For the better part of my adult life, I’ve known one thing: that I wanted to own a business.

Faith and I connected through our mutual friendship with a pretty cool Babe (shoutout to Megan - who also did all of the BWH branding thus far) and when she told me she worked in the Sports industry, I couldn't wait to chat with her.

Kate Albrecht aka Mr. Kate is a freakin' renaissance woman. Raised in the Waldorf school system and as the product of two Los Angeles artists, creativity is in her blood.

Olivia and I met during college in the PR department at The Zimmerman Agency, where she took me under her wing, recognized my (sliver of) potential and made me feel like less of a useless intern.

Much like a successful stock portfolio, we live our best personal and professional lives when we diversify our time and habits. 

As a film director, writer, and illustrator, Samantha is a true storyteller. When she was referred to me by my friend Ashli, (one of the most influential women/artists in my life,) I knew she'd be a gem.

Currently hustling as an in-house designer at Avon in addition to working as a freelance illustrator, Amber is an insanely unique artist with a personal style that's hard to miss. Having already worked for kickass companies like Man Repeller, Lenny Letter, Teen Vogue, Saks Fifth Avenue and her dream brand, The New York Times, I'd say she's doing pretty well, and I can't wait to see where she goes next. Busy running meetings, busy perfecting your highlight, busy being extra—it's all part of the hustle. During the week, I'm always in a serous rush to get out the door, which means I'm constantly on the hunt for beauty products that make my life a little easier. 

I am such a big fan of Chynna. Interviewing her has been one of those full-circle moments for me as I've watched her grow into the confident, strong-willed woman she is over the past 10+ years. She was pretty dang humble in this interview, but what she didn't mention is that she was an SEC D1 Volleyball player in college. She works her tail off at everything she does. I admire her passion for standing up for what's right and can't wait to see all that she accomplishes. Thanks for chatting with me, Chynna. You're the best.
